Today I went to Tako Sushi. Yes, I realize that it’s after the 20% off special, but what can I do right?

Anyways, Tako Sushi is shit. Not the shit, but shit.

I’ve been hearing mixed reviews. For the most part, I’m hearing that it’s good/alright, but to everyone that said that to me… WHAT WERE YOU THINKING!?

• ordering a combo is not any cheaper. in fact, we calculated it to be same price.
• overpriced. the boat was approximately $16.33 for 17 pieces (sushi/sashimi mixed)
• sushi is average.
• sashimi is soapy.
• edamane is boiled in salt water, so less taste. also, they gave us some brown ones.
• tea is all powdery and gross. they dont even have enough pots to leave us with.
• bad service. “refill our fucking tea please!”

So anyways. As you all know, there are SO many sushi restaraunts in Mississauga. Here are the sushi places I prefer:

• Dai Ichi Sushi: Run by Koreans. Cheap, good portions, awesome/free sides, great service, variety, relaxed.
• Prince Sushi: Expensive, really good sushi, great sashimi. Bad service, they kick you out if they are busy.
• Momiji: Good service, cheap, all you can eat. Not very fluent in English. The menu is full of random rolls that they don’t describe to you (nor are they able to). So in that respect, they have limited choice. If you are adventurous, there is a lot of potential such as the Queen of Salmon.
